A little while ago I decided to go for a walk around the back alleys and lesser known parts of the centre of Christchurch. The side rarely seen by those who were just visitors, and probably by many of the cities inhabitants. Most of these scenes are lost to earthquake damage now and will never be seen again apart from in this gallery.
